Done Right - Job Process

The first step in any work that we perform is a written estimate. During the estimate process we can help with basic color selection. For more advanced help with color selection you can find references to an excellent Interior Designer on our [other contractors page]. We will only recommend other contractors that we have complete trust in.

We can send out our estimates by Mail, Fax, E-mail, or Phone.



Include a complete list of Job Specifications such as;
Job start date. Job length in business days. Reference and Guaranty information. A complete list of the sections to be Painted or Stained. A complete list of material brand names and product specifications. A complete list of Colors and Sheens to be used. Application Specifications (ex.. back-rolling, spraying, brushing) All materials are included in estimate total prices.

It is important for both us and our customers that the job specifications are clearly listed in writing. Once a estimate has been received, reviewed, and agreed upon than a written contract will be written. This contract usually is a carbon copy of the agreed upon estimate. Along with your contract you will receive some general information explaining your rights,and ours. We will also include a copy of our current workmans comp insurance information for your piece of mind.

We expect our customers to be concerned about the outcome of there paint jobs although some are not. We will finish the job to our professional standards. At that point You and I will do a "walk around" which will give a chance for you to voice any concerns and ask general questions. This is an integral part of the Job to ensure that when we pull out you are happy and understand the job you have paid for. After all you have to live with it we don't.

Paint maintenance is very important and often overlooked. Although extreme forces of nature are almost completely out of our control there are things that can be done to extend the life of the finish on your home.

All work (unless otherwise specified) is guaranteed for a full 5 years.

Unfortunately we CAN'T guaranty Decks for more than two years. Due to the fact that no stain or paint, no matter how well the surfaces are prepared meet up to the expectations of most of our customers. In our experience SIKKENS Solid Deck and Siding Stains holdout the longest in high weather exposure areas.

Some times deck finish holdout depends on much deeper issues. Such as design, and your deck builders overall knowledge of what lead to finish failure. In general the basic design of most decks leads to paint failure.
