What you should know!
- We need to establish a designated place to wash brushes, rollers, buckets, and tools.
- Most structures I will divide into sections, and basically finish a section before moving on to the next.
- Please close all windows during the progress of the work, this is especially important when Pressure Washing. I also suggest that during painting you make sure all windows covered with masking are kept closed. Opening them while masked could loosen the tape and cause overspray.
- Sometimes on a construction project things can get messy. At the end of every day of work a thorough cleanup of the job site is performed and all the tools left on site are organized and covered.

What to expect from our staff
- In order to provide you with long lasting quality work I only use the best products, which sometimes are relatively expensive. Since a structure itself is expensive, and final waterproofing is important this is a time to pick materials wisely.
- You can also expect beautifully cut corners, smooth evenly rolled walls, and a durable long lasting finish applied by experienced craftsmen/women in a clean work environment.
- Bare Wood, Metal & Concrete will be properly primed an etched if necessary
- All peeling and failing paint will be fixed appropriately
- All holes and cracks vital to waterproofing and a long lasting job will be filled and caulked appropriately.
- All rough surfaces being painted will be Back- Rolled at least one time on the Finish coat(s). Usually I do not back-roll primer unless needed.
- Landscaping (Bushes, Trees, Lawn, Etc.) will thoroughly be protected and treated kindly.
- Due to the flammable materials being used. Done Right does not allow cigarette smoking on the job site but does allow its employees or subcontractors to smoke at a respectful and safe distance from the job site.
- Done Right and its Subcontractors take Oil Stain rags very seriously. All Oil rags will be submersed and stored in metal water buckets.
- Touchup paint will be labeled clearly corresponding with section, color, and sheen

What to expect from a Power Wash
- Great attention is paid to using the maximum cleaning water pressure while not damaging the surface being washed.
- Power Washing does not get rid of all spider webs, they tend to get wet and stick to the wall. During the Prep phase of the work spider webs will be swept off.
- Power Washing also might not remove all loose, peeling and failing paint which will be dealt with also in the Prep stage.

Things you should know about paint maintenance
- Your exterior paint work should be lightly Power Washed with clean water 1 - 2 times a year.
- Keeping your gutters clean can prevent water backing up on to your roof edge and running in to your walls which causes paint failure. This is also a good reason to keep roofs clean and leak free.
- Touchup paint should be stored out of the sun and above 40 degrees. Paint is generally trash after 3 years and the Nevada County Dump recycles all types of paint for free.
